On the 15th of January Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Latvia to P.R. China, Ingrida Levrence, presented the Letters of credence to the President of the P.R. China, Hu Jintao, at the Great Hall of the People in Beijing. After the ceremonial meeting, both sides appreciated the positive development of bilateral cooperation, as well as deliberated over current issues, and emphasized the necessity of encouraging the cooperation in the fields of transport, logistics, education and tourism.
